Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico will be once again the culinary arena, where celebrity chefs: José Andrés, Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert and Tim Love will participate on the Second Annual Dorado Beach Culinary Getaway from November 3 through 6.
Most of the people are amazed by all the culinary skills; flavors and exquisite wine served at the different activities during the first annual culinary getaway hosted last year at the Dorado Beach a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico.
The first annual culinary getaway was a complete success where José Andrés and his friends exceeded the expectations of all the food lovers that had the opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity in paradise.
Last year at the gala dinner, approximately eighteen cooks and chefs worked together as a synchronized team to produce 160 plates at the same time, declared Mi Casa by José Andrés Restaurant Chef, Victor Rosado in a phone interview for NOVO Creative PR.
Chef Rosado and his team worked last year side by side with Eric Ripert. “It was very exciting being able to meet and work with the chefs that I admired and had follow their careers”, described Chef Rosado.
“Hosting a culinary weekend with various renowned chefs on one place was an exciting and nerve-racking challenge”, declared Eric X. Santiago, Sous Chef of Mi Casa by José Andrés in an interview for NOVO Creative PR.
Santiago was also part of the first Culinary Getaway last year where Spanish Chef José Andrés hosted an unforgettable gala at his signature restaurant. "That weekend I was a bit nervous and worried because I had the task of making all purchases for the restaurant and also take care of the logistics of the products daily, so none of the chefs were lacking any product so they could complete their recipes”.
Chef Santiago mentioned in the interview that in addition to the nervousness that he understood it might be normal, it was his first experience working side by side with them, and “we had several important ingredients missing, like the white truffles that arrived the same day of the gala".
Regardless of the last minute truffles arriving it was a weekend that local and international chefs worked together to hosted a life changing experience, affirmed Chef Victor Rosado.
“This year there will be a demonstration of José Andrés where people attending the event can enjoy appetizers cooked by him, which last year was only cooking demos and now the guest will be able to enjoy his culinary delicacies. There will be also an exclusive Chefs Meet & Greet, only for hotel guests where fans of gastronomy will have the opportunity to talk with them”, mentioned Chef Santiago.
